On the afternoon of January 22, the teaching team of western economics and finance held a meeting in room 1021, Qiyun building. A total of 11 participants participated in the discussion, including President Guo Aijun, vice president pan Yongxin, teachers Cao Zhijian, Zhang Guoqing, Jia Hongwen, Tong Changfeng, Wang Jifei, Li Hao, Chen Nanxu, Feng Guoqiang and Zhou Yixin. The meeting conducted in-depth discussions on the two teaching teams' collective lesson preparation and general education curriculum construction.
The course of western economics has been subdivided into three courses: principles of economics, intermediate macroeconomics and intermediate microeconomics. The meeting made it clear that in the teaching process of the three courses, we must achieve "three unifications", improve the teaching quality and reflect the teaching effect. First, unify teaching materials. Standardize the use of teaching materials, give priority to the use of "horse project" teaching materials and national planning teaching materials. The difficulty of teaching should be appropriately raised to improve students' ability to master and use knowledge. We should consciously and systematically compile the textbooks of economics related courses, and gradually establish the research paradigm of economics education in China. Second, unify the content. From the perspective of content structure, the three courses should be mutually progressive. In the actual teaching process, we should do a good job of curriculum convergence. In the classroom, we should mainly conquer the basic core content, and develop a complete after-school learning resource library for the course content that can not be covered, so as to cultivate students' solid knowledge. Third, unified assessment“ Under the background of "different teachers for the same course", the teaching team should play an active role, formulate a unified syllabus, clarify the teaching requirements and assessment standards, and meet the learning needs of students with different gradients.
Strengthening general education is an important way to enrich the connotation of talent cultivation. Our college actively implements the new requirements of education and teaching reform, vigorously promotes the two professional courses of "principles of economics" and "finance", and gives priority to the teaching construction of general courses. The meeting identified the responsible persons and team members of the two courses (details are shown in the table below), and deployed the significance, main tasks, team cooperation and other matters needing attention of general education course construction in detail.
The construction of teaching team is an important weight to improve the quality and efficiency of curriculum construction. This meeting, based on the time, took the lead in responding to the key tasks of the college's education and teaching work in 2021, and expanded the path to enhance the effectiveness of our undergraduate curriculum construction and teaching management.
