On the morning of January 22, the teaching team of "political economy (Socialist part)" of our college held a collective lesson preparation meeting for the course of "political economy (2)" in the spring semester of 2021 at 1025 (teacher activity room) of Qiyun building. Huang Jianhua, Secretary of the Party committee of the school of economics, pan Yongxin, vice president of teaching, Deng Qianqian (person in charge), Gao Hongxia, Xia Wenbin and Feng Guoqiang, members of the team, attended the meeting. The meeting fully discussed the teaching of political economy (Socialist part).
Focusing on the theory and practice of socialist political economy with Chinese characteristics in the new era, combined with the teaching rules and characteristics of undergraduate courses in our college, the teaching team pays close attention to the new requirements of curriculum construction and promotes new breakthroughs in teaching effectiveness, comprehensively and deeply discusses the specific contents of the course in the aspects of teaching objectives, teaching contents, teaching methods and teaching effectiveness, and straightens out the relationship of "three ones".
Reach a consensus. The course teaching should reflect the professional objectives. As a professional basic course, political economy (2) should cultivate students' economic thinking, and make the teaching process from simple explanation of "economic phenomenon" to flexible application of economic principles. The teaching team has reached a consensus, defined the teaching concept of "cultivating students' solid basic knowledge and appropriately expanding the course content" as the goal, and selected two basic course textbooks as the supporting elements of unified teaching.
Form a set of handouts. How to fully show the main content of the course in the limited classroom teaching, and let students effectively digest, is the difficult task of any course teaching. The teaching team unanimously advocated to clarify the framework of the course content, clarify the context of the course content, master the focus of the course content, etc., and integrated the "three major" directory outline of the course teaching content, which was written by each member.
Build a paradigm. The teaching team said that under the basic training goal of mastering basic knowledge, it is necessary to gradually try to establish the characteristics of curriculum teaching in our college, explore the advantages of curriculum construction, optimize the way of discourse expression, and make students in our college communicate with students in other schools. Especially in the aspect of curriculum assessment, we should unify the examination questions and carefully develop the way of questions to fully reflect the challenge, high-level and innovation of the assessment.
The collective lesson preparation meeting of "political economy (Socialist part)" has effectively brought the initiative of the teaching team into play, set an example for the construction of undergraduate courses and the high-quality development of teaching work in 2021.
