In order to promote the exchanges between economists from various universities in China and promote the development of economic disciplines, the second annual conference of Chinese economics summer forum was held in Lanzhou University on August 14 and 15. The forum is co-hosted by the secretariat of the China Economic Association and the School of Economics, Lanzhou University. Nearly a hundred experts and scholars from domestic universities and teachers and students from the School of Economics gathered together to conduct extensive and in-depth academic exchanges around the theme of "' Belt and Road 'and the New Pattern of Comprehensive Opening". This forum was divided into five parts: opening ceremony, keynote speech, parallel forum report exchange, thematic dialogue and closing ceremony.

On the morning of August 14, the forum contained the opening ceremony and keynote speech. The opening ceremony was delivered by professor Zhang Di of the secretariat of the Annual Conference of Chinese Economics, professor  Guo Aijun, dean of the school of economics, and professor Jiang Anyin, deputy dean of the School of Economics. On the afternoon of August 14, the parallel forum reported an exchange of six sub-forums, held simultaneously in Conference Room 501, conference Room 502 and conference Room 506 of the university Student Activity Centre, respectively.

The second summer forum of the Annual Conference of Chinese Economics, with the theme of "One Belt, One Road" and a new pattern of overall opening up, has shared its latest research results through the form of keynote reports, exchange of academic papers and thematic dialogues, and has held extensive and in-depth discussions with other participants, reached a lot of academic consensus. The holding of the forum enriched the form and development connotation of the Annual Conference of Chinese Economics, promoted the academic reputation of the School of Economics of Lanzhou University, promoted the benign development of the college's "Double First-class" discipline construction, and strengthened the academic ties between the college and other universities in the country.
