Personal profile
Cao Zijian, male, born in 1967, is from Huining, Gansu Province. Doctor of Economics, Professor, School of Economics, Lanzhou University. In 1984, he worked in the Department of Economics, Lanzhou University from September 1987 to June 1991. He majored in Political Economics, Lanzhou University from September 1991 to June 1994. He majored in Economics, Lanzhou University from September 1991 to June 1994, and in Regional Economics, Lanzhou University School of Economics, from September 2006 to December 2012. Since June 1994, he has remained in school to teach.
Main research directions: regional economy, income distribution and transition economy.
He has won the 7th Second Prize for Excellent Achievements in Social Sciences in Gansu Province (2000), the 10th First Prize for Excellent Achievements in Social Sciences in Gansu Province (2007), the 1st Prize for Excellent Achievements in Humanities and Social Sciences in Higher Institutions of Gansu Province (2000, 2006), and the 14th Excellent Achievements in Philosophy and Social Scienc Second Prize (2015)". Selected "555 Innovative Talents of Gansu Province" (2002) and "Leading Talents of Gansu Province" (2009). "Regional Economics" was awarded the excellent course of Gansu Provincial Colleges and Universities (2014).
