On the afternoon of March 19, the third lecture of the training course for improving the professional ability of administrative staff in the school of economics of Lanzhou University began. Xia Rui, Secretary of the Youth League Committee of the school of philosophy and society of Lanzhou University, was invited to give a lecture on the theme of "common office etiquette and cultivation". The training was attended by more than 20 administrators and cadres of the graduate student union and student union. Zhang Beidou, deputy secretary of the Party committee and vice president, presided over the meeting.

With the introduction of "what is administrative work", Mr. Xia expounded the misunderstanding of administrative work, sustainable development and the professional quality of administrative staff. Focus on five aspects of dress, introduction, reception, telephone and banquet to explain the etiquette details that need to be paid attention to in administrative work, such as formal dress standard, host guest order, guidance angle, etc. these little knowledge seem insignificant, but can best reflect personal cultivation.

There is a lot of communication in the administrative work. How to communicate with leaders, colleagues and students more efficiently is particularly important. Teacher Xia proposed to "speak to each other's heart". Persuasive expression is not to tell the other party how to do it, but to say "why" first, establish a connection with the other party from the perspective of purpose and motivation, let the other party realize the relevance between things and themselves, and then say "what" and "how to do". This can achieve twice the result with half the effort.

Finally, teacher Xia discusses with you how to achieve self-improvement while doing a good job in daily work. She uses the "life balance wheel" to show the source of people's sense of happiness and achievement. In the case of limited time, only by reasonably allocating energy to "career, family, health, friends, interest, environment, money and self growth" can she find the balance of life and achieve the maximum satisfaction. We should not only do well in the "important and urgent" things, but also pay more attention to those "important but not urgent" things, such as student management, team training and personal ability improvement. Only in this way can we keep enthusiasm and continuous growth in the detailed work day after day.
