As one of the important branches of economics, space economics shows its comparative advantage of theoretical interpretation and enduring charm of practical guidance under the joint action of contemporary regional economy and geopolitics. Since 2009, China's annual conference on spatial economics has been successfully held for 12 sessions, which has been strongly supported and widely recognized by scholars in relevant disciplines such as regional economics, urban economics, industrial economics, economic geography, urban and rural planning and government decision-making consulting departments at home and abroad. It has become an annual event in China's spatial economics circles.
